Kohli dazzles in Indian win

V Kohli hit a brilliant 105 and pulled India to victory, in the first ODI against NZ.

He was helped by Yuvraj (42). India scored 276 and NZ fell short of the target by 40 runs.

This was his second hundred in a row and his fourth overall. India is yet to lose an international this season.

The hour findeth the man and it was Kohli today, as he drove, hooked and cut fiercely to race towards his hundred !

NZ was in total disarray when they batted. Howe was out to Nehra when the score was 38. Ross Taylor played a gem of an innings (66), before holing out to Patel off Ashwin. The offie took 3 wickets. So also did Sreeshant.

NZ wanted 40 more runs with 2 wickets in hand, when Sreeshant got Nathan McCullum. It was a superb catch by Gambhir which did McCullum in. NZ was threatening to take the match away from India's hands when Sreeshant struck twice. Mills tried to loft Sreeshant but ended up giving a catch to the wicketkeeper, Saha ! Sreeshant finished the game in two balls and India won hands down !
