Pak PM to be in Mohali for epic Indo Pak encounter !

The Indian Prime Minister invited his Pak counterpart to watch the Mohali semi final between India and Pak. Gilani has accepted the invitation !

Somebody jocularly remarked that it saves the Pak PM one lakh rupees, as a 15 K rupee ticket is being sold in the black market for one lakh !

This high voltage match scheduled on Wednesday promises to be the mother of all battles. Pak and India are old rivals. While Pak has a better record in ODIs, India has a better record in World Cups !

Meanwhile, Sachin has been relegated to the third place. Trott leads with 422 runs and Dilshan is second at 394. Sachin has 379 runs in this World Cup.

Meanwhile, Pak has started playing mind games. Afridi said they will not allow Sachin to score his hundredth hundred. ( This is not the right thing to say. Make Love, not War !. The PM and others are trying to solve the misunderstandings between the two countries and here is Afridi saying something inauspicious, from an Indian perspective. Indians are emotionally attached to the game, as Cricket is Religion in India. Half a billion Indians would love to see Sachin score his century of centuries and that will throw India into ecstasy ). Hafeez said past records do not matter. None of the Indians have retaliated.

Intikhab Alam and Waqar Younis said this is a great battle, as both are excellent teams. One of the teams have to lose. Let the side which loses, do it gracefully !

While Sohail said India will not give green tops and he dared India to give green tops, Shastri countered that India will beat Pak, 8 out of ten, on green tops !

Meanwhile, Imran says Pak should play Akthar on Wednesday. He said he had advised Afridi about the composition of the team.

India will be playing S Raina, who is any day technically superior to Pathan. Pathan has been measured by opposition teams. With Ashwin and Raina in, India have been infused with youth energy and now they are a combination of youth and experience.

Ian Chappell opined that Ponting is like a bloodied and beaten warrior who refused to bow down. It was Aus which lost and not Ricky Ponting !
